Ms. Svetlana Smolina has performed with Mariinsky Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, New York Philharmonic at Avery Fisher, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Orchestra National de France, iPalpiti Orchestra in Disney Hall, at Salzburg Festival, Hollywood Bowl, Ravinia Rising Stars, White Nights, Maggio Musicale, Mikkeli, Ruhr Klavier, Moscow Easter Festival, Rotterdam Gergiev, Gilmore Keyboard, Settimane Musicali di Stresa, Hennessy Artists Series at Hanoi Opera House, at Royal Covent Garden, Mariinsky 3, Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory, Mozarteum, Opera House in Tel-Aviv and at Academia Santa Cecilia in Rome.
Her recording with Maestro Gergiev on Mariinsky label of Stravinsky Les Noces received ICMA award in 2011.
In 2015 Svetlana and Vadim Repin gave a series of recitals in Washington DC and in London for Trans-Siberian Art Festival, the duo also performed at Cartagena Festival in Teatro Colon/ Bogota, at Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, in Bangalore and Mumbai for XXV Lakshminarayana Global Music Festival with Dr. Subramaniam, at Koerner Hall in Toronto and at Salle Garnier de Monte-Carlo.
Highlights of Svetlana’s recent performances include tour to China with Dublin Philharmonic/Maestro Derek Gleeson, concerts with Orquesta Sinfonica Nacional Juvenil in Lima/ Peru, at Tippet Rise Festival in Montana with released CD on Pentatone Oxingale Records, at Carnegie Hall in NYC and in Sentosa Theater/Singapore with Lee-Chin Siow, at Stadtcasino in Basel with Charlie Siem, at CCK Symphony Hall/Buenos Aires; concerts at Classical Tahoe Festival with Maestro Joel Revzen, at Ushuaia International Music Festival in Argentina, at Cremona International Summer Festival with Roberto Cani; at Trans-Siberian Art Festivals with Vadim Repin, Alexander Knyazev and Narek Hakhnazaryan, at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts in Virginia Beach with Maestro Daniel Boothe; recording with Maestro Derek Gleeson at Bulgarian National Radio with Radio Sofia Orchestra; with Dr. Subramaniam in Bangalore and Mumbai, India for Sree Rama Seva Mandali Festival; concert with Maestro Evgeny Bushkov at Minsk Philharmonic and with Maestro Vladimir Plaksin with Nizhny Novgorod Soloists Chamber Orchestra.
In 2023 Svetlana will make her debut in Osaka, Japan with Kazuhiro Takagi, perform at Bratislava Primate’s Palace with Eva Virsik; play a recital at Megaron Chamber Hall in Athens, Greece for the Piano Plus Festival, close 25 th Season of South Florida Symphony with Maestra Sebrina Alfonso at the Parker Playhouse, Fort Lauderdale and present a series of recitals in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Svetlana is a Grand Prix Winner of Citta Di Senigallia International Piano Competition, Kingsville Piano Competition, William Byrd Young Artists Piano Competition and a Prize Winner of Murray Dranoff International Duo Piano Competition and Shreveport SymphonyWideman Piano Competition.
Since 2011 Svetlana is directing Piano Programs at Philadelphia International Music Festival.
